About Me

I am an amateur photographer based in London, England.

My mother put a camera in my hands when I was a toddler, and I have been taking pictures ever since. An instamatic camera was followed by a Polaroid which eventually led to an SLR and a darkroom.

In that darkroom I learned to develop and print my own black and white film which spawned a long lasting love for black and white photography. Though I never managed to learn colour darkroom techniques, especially Cibachrome which I was so eager to learn, the advent of digital photography brought tools to work with colour that I never dreamed of.

While digital darkrooms have since replaced chemical trays and enlargers, my passion for making each image unique has not disappeared like an overexposed image. Every photo is a new opportunity to capture a unique moment in time and place, and to share that moment with others.

These days my photo kit consists of a digital SLR, my phone, Lightroom and Photoshop.
